Permission to speak about God, in a society that is less than supportive.

If you ever felt like you needed permission from God to go out and boldly speak your testimony, trusting Him to be at work through you, here it is...

2 Timothy 4:1-5

"In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry."
There ya go. Speak boldly, and humbly God's truth in your life. Build up your faith and speak it over the people around you. Once you decide to put yourself out there, and you see God at work it will stir up an excitement in you, and will renew your energy so you can go out and do more work for Him. Empower your spiritual muscles. Share the love of God, share your faith. Don't wait for 2 or 3 degrees before you impart the good news to those around you. "You keep your head, and go out and be an evangelist!" Permission granted.

Another one of many amazing lessons I learned from Susie Larson that has empowered me and put me into a new frame of mind spiritually. Hope this does for you what it does for me. I needed permission. How about you?
